Visual identity for the Pagale contemporary art exhibition

Pagale is a state-of-the-art scenography: an exhibition of rich and varied profiles from a network of artists, designers, scenographers, graphic designers and creatives Ratées.
Presented in June 2025 in a gallery in the Marais district of Paris, the exhibition was coordinated and scenographied by Philippine Aprile Mandillon and Gemma Raad.

We designed the poster, flyers and layout of the exhibition texts.
The moving design created for the visual identity illustrates the meaning of the word Pagale in sailing vocabulary: mouiller en pagale means to drop anchor wherever you are, without taking the time to reef or tighten the sails, an immediate, almost instinctive stop, both urgent and unprepared, in the middle of heavy swells.
