Design and creation of the visual identity for SLAU design studio

The studio designed the visual identity and website for SLAU, an eco-social design studio founded by Laurine Schott, which develops tools aimed at addressing contemporary social and environmental issues, while actively involving the relevant audiences.

The visual identity is based on a system of modular blocks, inspired by assembly brackets, in reference to the studio's technical and constructional foundations. This graphic structure expresses the adaptable and pragmatic ‘tool’ dimension of SLAU's projects. The circles integrated into the composition evoke the tokens that Laurine Schott regularly uses in her workshops, creating a direct graphic link to her field practice.

The website was designed with an open-source and eco-responsible approach. Built with the Kirby CMS, based on free software, it deliberately limits technical overlays to ensure lightness, accessibility and digital sobriety. The choice of fonts – Heal the Web A and Public Sans – both royalty-free, is also in line with this logic of sharing, sustainability and transparency.
