Visual identity for the Archicycleuses research residency
Architects Annouk Soula and Aliénor Drapier were awarded the American Institute of Architects' Delano & Aldrich/Emerson Fellowship in 2022 for their project BIKING THROUGH (GREEN) NEW DEAL.
They propose to link architectural practice with travel by retracing, by bicycle, the route of John Steinbeck's novel The Grapes of Wrath, from Oklahoma to California. Their goal is to study architectural projects that emerged from the New Deal, as well as more recent ones inspired by the Green New Deal.
Studio Muro helped them create the project's visual identity, which was used on cycling caps, among other items.
Upon their return, we produced the signage, posters and flyers for their exhibition at the PACA Regional Centre of the Order of Architects in Marseille.
