Tiers-Lieu murals

Design and creation of two murals for the Saint Joseph nursing home in Nîmes.

As part of the Tiers Lieu Paquita project devised by the Red Cross at the Saint Joseph nursing home in Nîmes, we came up with a participatory project involving the nursing home residents to make their daily lives and surroundings warmer and more welcoming.

We designed and ran a creative workshop based on collage, providing pre-cut plant and flower shapes so that everyone could easily participate, regardless of their level of autonomy, with the aim of creating a mural to be displayed on the large reception wall of the establishment.

The residents then voted to choose their favourite composition, which we reproduced. We also created a variation on the chosen composition on the outside wall of the building.
